Theresa – My radio career started completely by accident, which is fitting because most of my best adventures have started that way! Growing up in Colorado, I heard an ad for a local radio station looking for a board operator. I figured, “Why not?” and applied on a whim. To my surprise, I was hired on the spot… and I haven’t really escaped the radio world since. From running boards to being on-air, it’s been a wild, wonderful ride filled with music, stories, and more than a few cups of coffee.

For over ten years, I had one big mission outside of radio: convincing my husband to move to Alaska. I didn’t have a deep, complicated reason—honestly, it just sounded cool. Eventually, in 2021, I won that battle and we packed up our lives and relocated to North Pole. Now, instead of just talking about adventures on the air, I get to live them, sometimes in snow boots!

Outside the station, I’m all about crafting, traveling, and all things Disney… especially traveling to Disney. I also have a bit of a reputation for dragging my husband and our two sons on adventures, whether they’re ready for them or not. From exploring new places to trying new things, they’ve learned that with me, there’s always a story waiting to happen and they usually survive to tell the tale.
